These Terms of Service are designed for us to tell you a little bit more about who we are, what we do, and what we expect/require of our Shopper Users and Customer Users.
Our vision for Nabo is to connect neighbors and build stronger communities by providing a platform for neighbors to shop for each other and help each other.
Our mission is to build a platform that makes it easy, fun and economical for neighbors to have items ordered online delivered to their homes when they want. We want neighbors to be able to shop for their neighbors while they are already shopping for themselves.
In order for us to make our vision a reality, we work in partnership with you, our Shopper and Customer Users. When you create an account with Nabo, you agree that Nabo will use the information you provide us to match you with a Shopper or a Customer within your neighborhood or a nearby neighborhood who either can deliver needed items for you (the Shopper’s role) or requires your delivery services (the Customer’s role).
Customer Users of the Nabo App understand and agree that if they place their orders through the App, the App will make their orders available to any of the Shopper Users that are available to accept and fulfill their orders. Any Customer User who orders through the App is matched with a Shopper User through our proprietary custom logic system.
A Shopper User may accept or decline an opportunity to shop for a Customer User at the time they receive an in-App notification from Nabo.
There is a cap for the maximum amount of items that Customer Users can order through the App, which is determined either by dollar value or the number of items requested, or a combination of both.
When a Customer User orders through the App, they understand and accept that prices on the App may vary slightly from prices at the store. To make this easy and prevent inconvenience or confusion, Nabo requires a minimal amount of extra payment be provided (i.e. over and above the price of the purchase) so that the Shopper User can be fully reimbursed for what they pay for at the store. To facilitate this, Nabo will authorize a charge on the card that was provided for 35% more than the total order amount. Once the Shopper User delivers the order, the charged amount will be adjusted based on the actual total paid by the Shopper User and then processed.
Once delivered to the Customer User successfully, Nabo will release the funds placed by the Customer User in their account. Nabo will also save your card details so that you wont have to enter your card details each time you shop.
When a Shopper User “Accepts” any order through the App, they agree to go over the Customer User’s list and get all the items as per the list that are available in the store and deliver to the Customer User in their community.
Shopper Users are required to use their own forms of payment (credit card, cash, ApplePay or other form as is appropriate) at the time of check out to purchase orders.
After purchase is completed, Shopper Users then take a photo of the receipt for the items, upload the receipt image into the App, and make delivery to the address provided by the Customer User. In the event that that the Shopper Use fails to upload the receipt image into the App, then the Shopper User will not receive payment, and forfeits all rights to hold Nabo accountable for any monetary losses.
Once the items are successfully delivered to the Customer User, payment is released to the Shopper User.
Tips of an unlimited amount may be provided by the Customer User, which is how Shopper Users receive compensation for shopping for their neighbors. From time to time, we may suggest tips for different levels of service through the App.
Both Customer Users and Shopper Users are provided history tabs from where they can track all their past and current transactions.
In the event that a Shopper User shops multiple times a day for a single Customer User, then they will get reimbursed at the end of the day for all their purchases for that day, plus any tip compensation.
Any disputes between Users will be handled by the Users. Nabo will assist only to the extent that Nabo will reasonably provide any information in its possession regarding User transactions. Nabo will always provide
Users in dispute with equal access to information.
If the User Shopper fails to purchase any of the items ordered by the Customer User, then Nabo has the right to withhold the money to be deposited to the Shopper User’s account.
At the end of the day, we at Nabo want Nabo to be a place where neighbors feel safe and can order or shop for each other while building relationships that make communities stronger.
